The Porsche 911 gets a new engine for 2017 and it’s a winner, says CNET in a recent review. Gone are the 3.4-liter and 3.8-liter options available in last year's model, replaced by a smaller but higher performance 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder motor. This translates to 365 horsepower, up from 345 horsepower previously. Click "play" in the video clip below for CNET's full report.

The 911's in-dash infotainment system has also received a major upgrade. The fourth generation of the Porsche Communication Management system features a 7-inch, capacitive, multi-touch display. Google Earth integration makes for better maps, either through an integrated SIM or phone-tethering.

Apple's CarPlay is now available as well, allowing your iPhone to take over navigation, entertainment and communication functions as you wish.
