Exterior

Compared to the Taycan's sleek surfaces, the sharp accents on the sides and hood of the I-PACE stand out.

Interior

The interiors of these 5-passenger vehicles also show striking differences. The Taycan has a modern, luxurious feel that is defined by impressive materials and four digital screens across the dashboard. These include the driver's digital display screen with customizable gauges, which is mounted behind the heated steering wheel. It also consists of a multimedia screen placed over a second screen for the climate control system. These are placed in the center stack, and a beautiful analog clock sits over them for a decadent touch. On the right side, the front passenger has access to the fourth digital display screen on the front end. In the I-PACE for 2020, the multimedia screen placed at the top of the center stack is accompanied by air vents and rotary knobs. In the steep center console, several buttons and rotary controllers provide access to various aspects of the SUV's performance.

Performance

Both of these vehicles are proof that you do not have to forsake the power to drive an all-electric vehicle, but their performances are stunningly different. The Taycan for 2020 is outfitted with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, a recuperation management system, and an 800-volt performance battery. It can shoot you up to 60 miles per hour in only 3.8 seconds, and it also comes with launch control and an over-boost power system. In comparison, the I-Pace requires 4.5 seconds to get you up to 60 miles per hour. Its battery is connected to two permanent electric motors.
