2020 Porsche Macan vs 2020 Porsche Cayenne

Serving Brentwood, TN

For Nashville's drivers who crave power behind the wheel and who need the functionality of a crossover SUV, today's Porsche lineup has impressive models that deliver the experience that you are looking for. When Porsche released the Cayenne in 2003, it became the first four-door Porsche ever produced. The Macan joined the Porsche SUV lineup in 2014 by taking a slot directly below the Cayenne. Both of these beautiful vehicles will undoubtedly delight you with their perfect balance of luxury and power, but which one will give you the complete experience that you want? Our associates at Porsche of Nashville are more than happy to help you answer that question.

The Macan and the Cayenne are both available with your choice of well-engineered powertrains. The 2020 Macan's entry-level powertrain is a 2.0-liter, I-4 turbo engine that delivers 248 horsepower. Its top-of-the-line powertrain is a 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V6 engine that gives you 434 horsepower. In comparison, the base powertrain is a 3.0-liter, V6 turbo engine that produces 335 horsepower. The Cayenne's top engine is a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 that generates 541 horsepower. The Cayenne is also available with several hybrid powertrain options. You can experience the performance capabilities of the powertrains that you are interested in through a test drive at Porsche of Nashville.

Throughout the exterior, the Macan and the Cayenne have comparable design elements with a few important differences. These crossover SUVs both show off Porsche's signature hood with a swooping angle, crisp personality lines, and beefy wheel wells. The black grille on both models has a sweeping presence across the entire lower-front fascia. The only notable difference between these two vehicles on the front end is the shape of the foglamp ports. These ports are placed directly below the grille in both models. The Macan has a coupe-like profile with a bold angle through the liftgate. On the other hand, the Cayenne's liftgate stands more vertically to give it a unique look. The Cayenne is available in a coupe format as an alternative.

The interior style of the Macan and the Cayenne for 2020 is comparable. These vehicles both have an extended touch display screen mounted in the center stack and integrated with the climate system controls and air vents. The Macan has two rotary control knobs included in this unit. In both models, you will find a rising center console that holds the gear shifter and other control buttons. The Macan's center console is longer and has a more gradual angle. These vehicles are both loaded with premium materials, a heated steering wheel with multiple mounted functions, a power sunroof, the Porsche Connect system, and other superior features.
