Performance

The 2019 Porsche Panamera is available in the following trims: Base, Panamera 4, Panamera 4S, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, Panamera GTS, Panamera Turbo, and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. Depending on the trim, and Executive and Sports Turismo body style is also available. The base is the only trim that comes with rear-wheel-drive, and it is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that produces 330 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. Panamera 4 uses the same engine. The Panamera 4S upgrades to a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that generates 440 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid utilizes the same engine that is coupled with an electric motor and a 14.1-kWh lithium battery that delivers 462 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It has a range of about 30 miles in all-electric mode. All hybrid models feature an air suspension to support the weight of the battery packs. The Panamera GTS steps up to a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that pumps out a 453 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. The Panamera Turbo uses a stronger version of the same engine that produces an impressive 550 hp and 567 lb-ft of torque. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid utilizes the same engine mated with the above hybrid equipment to deliver an astounding 677 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque. The 2018 Panamera has a similar engine lineup.

Appearance

The 2019 and 2018 Porsche Panameras base trims come standard exterior features such as 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, a power hatchback liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, automatic wipers, a two-way adaptive rear spoiler, and power-folding auto-dimming exterior mirrors with heat. Higher trims step up to 20-or 21-inch wheels, unique dual exhaust, and adaptive headlights.
